ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – SWOSU Softball finished off their four-game Great American Conference series with a split on Saturday and the Bulldogs are now 8-15 overall and 7-9 in conference play.
 
Game 1: Ouachita 9, SWOSU 0 (6 inn.)
 
SWOSU was held to three hits in the opener while Ouachita scored twice in the third and three times in the fifth before a walkoff grand slam in the sixth inning ended the game via run-rule.
 
Fresh off her no-hitter on Friday, Kaytlin Donaldson (5-7) was roughed up for nine runs on 10 hits with five strikeouts and one walk.
 
Game 2: SWOSU 4, Ouachita 1
 
The Bulldogs jumped on top with two runs in the second and one apiece in the third and fourth innings as they built their lead and held off the Tigers, who scored their lone run in the bottom of the seventh. Keanni Barron had a two-run single in the second and an RBI single in the fourth while Samantha Householder hit a solo home run to lead off the third inning.
 
Alisa Friesen (1-5) picked up the win with a complete-game effort in the circle, allowing one run on five hits with seven strikeouts.
