WICHITA FALLS, Texas – SWOSU Volleyball stepped out of conference play on Tuesday and saw their five-match win streak snapped by Midwestern State in straight sets.
The Bulldogs, who fall to 11-9 on the year, will return to action this weekend, hosting Ouachita and Henderson State during Homecoming Weekend at SWOSU.
SWOSU was led by seven kills apiece from
Sofia Gruden and
Maicee Morgan, but the Dawgs struggled to get much going offensively and labored to an attack percentage of .094. MSU, meanwhile put away 50 kills in the three-set match while hitting .369.
Allie Hoang posted a double-double with 22 assits and 10 digs while Gruden led the Dawgs with four blocks.
