RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – For the second straight week, third time this season and sixth time in her career, SWOSU senior forward Sandra Nabweteme has been named the Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
 
A senior from Kampala, Uganda, Nabweteme had a hand in four of SWOSU's five goals in a 5-0 defeat of Southern Nazarene on Saturday evening in Bethany. She scored twice and assisted on two more Bulldog goals to maintain her conference lead in goals (12), assists (6) and points (30) for this season.
 
With six regular season matches remaining, Nabweteme remains NCAA Division II's active leader in career goals (66) and career points (166), while ranking fifth among active players with 34 career assists.
 
SWOSU Soccer returns to action on Tuesday evening in Alva, facing Northwestern Oklahoma State at 6:00 pm.
