Setting the Scene
- Following a bounce back win in the challenging venue of Percefull Fieldhouse, SWOSU Women's Basketball returns home for the final home game of the regular season and will host Oklahoma Baptist on Wednesday evening with a chance to claim the Great American Conference regular season championship outright
- Wednesday marks Senior Night for the Lady Bulldogs, where both
Penina Faumui and
Shalie McAlister could both play their final games inside the Pioneer Cellular Event Center as the two seniors on the squad
- SWOSU defeated Oklahoma Baptist 91-78 in Shawnee in the first meeting between teams this season after trailing by one point at halftime
- SWOSU and OBU have met five times in the GAC era, with the Lady Dawgs holding a 3-2 series lead which includes a perfect 2-0 mark in Weatherford
- This will be the second of three games the Lady Dawgs have in this final week

The Opponent
Oklahoma Baptist (13-13, 8-12 GAC)
- Comes into Wednesday in eighth place in the GAC standings -- the final postseason spot if the tournament started tomorrow
- The Lady Bison have lost two straight coming into the contest and four of their last five, and have two games remaining on their schedule including a season finale against ECU who is also fighting for a playoff spot
- Their offense ranks second behind only SWOSU with 79.4 ppg led by McKenzie Cooper (17.6) and Tasha Edge (14.9) who both rank in the top five in the GAC

SWOSU: Kelsi Musick (154-103, 9th season)
- Two-time GAC Coach of the Year, winning back-to-back honors for the '11-12 and '12-13 seasons and she has now led the Lady Bulldogs to four 20-win seasons after a 20-10 finish a year ago
- Musick has coached two All-Americans and 18 All-GAC selections, including two Player of the Years (Darcie Dick, 2012 /
Hailey Tucker, 2017) and one Freshman of the Year (
Hailey Tucker, 2016)
- Musick has led SWOSU to four GAC Tournament Championship games with two GAC Tournament Championships (2012, 2014) and two NCAA Division II Tournament appearances (2013, 2014) to her credit
- In nine seasons at SWOSU, Musick has a career record of 154-103, including a mark of 4-3 against OBU all-time

OBU: Casi Bays (108-74; 6th season)
- Bays has been head coach at OBU since 2012 after two seasons as the assistant coach of the team
- In her second season at the helm, Bays was named Sooner Athletic Conference Coach of the Year after leading the Lady Bison to a 28-6 record
Checking the Standings
- Harding took Arkansas Tech to the wire on Monday night, but finally had their five game winning streak snapped
- Northwestern now sits in 10th place following their loss to SWOSU and will need to win out and get some help in their final two games to find themselves in the postseason
- ECU has three games remaining on their schedule and currently sit in seventh in the standings, but have not yet secured themselves any postseason stabilityÂ

- With their win against Northwestern, SWOSU clinched at least a share of the GAC regular season title by holding all tiebreakers with Arkansas Tech who sits two games behind the Lady Dawgs with two games to go
- The Lady Dawgs have secured the No. 1 seed going into the GAC Tournament
- Against the Lady Rangers, the Lady Bulldogs went 31-for-37 (84%) at the free throw line -- season highs in both attempts and made foul shots
- SWOSU leads the GAC in made foul shots having made 462-of-605 (76%) attempts this season (ranks fourth in percentage)
- SWOSU also leads the GAC in made three point shots, shooting 235-for-632 (37%) from beyond the arc (ranks second in percentage)

Hailey Tucker ranks first in scoring at 20.2 points per game, eighth in rebounds at 7.8 rebounds per game, and second in blocked shots with 48 on the year
