SHAWNEE, Okla. – Hayden Priddy tallied 19 points in the No. 20 SWOSU Women's Basketball team's 82-50 victory over Missouri Southern on Saturday at the MIAA/GAC Crossover.
The Bulldogs got their first victory of the season in dominating fashion. SWOSU jumped out to an early 24-8 lead after the first quarter and led the game the entire way, seeing their lead get to as big as 39 points midway through the fourth quarter. The Dawgs made the most out of miscues by the Lions scoring 41 points off of turnovers.
Priddy led SWOSU's offensive effort scoring 15 of her 19 points in the first half.
Taylor Hedrick and
Tyra Aska also reached double digits on the night as Hedrick finished with 15 points and Aska put in 12.
Bethany Franks put in eight points of her own adding a team high nine rebounds to her stat line.
Missouri Southern was led by Chasidee Owens who scored 15 points but SWOSU was too much for the Lions and walked away victorious.
The Bulldogs will see their next action on Wednesday, November 21, against Cameron at 1:00 pm in Weatherford inside the Pioneer Cellular Event Center.
