Box Score (html)

Arkadelphia, Ark. – SWOSU Men's Basketball struggled on the road against Henderson State on Thursday night, falling to the Reddies 94-67.

The offense sputtered inside the Duke Wells Center in the first half, scoring just 22 points in the 20 minute session. Meanwhile, HSU shot better than 50% from the field as a team in the half and outscored the Bulldogs handily.

A 17-2 run in the first half established Henderson State's large lead and the Reddies did not let off the gas before halftime. HSU extended their lead to 45-22 heading into the half time locker room – just one point shy of their largest lead of the half.

The Bulldogs battled and showed grit in the second half, but were still outscored by the Reddies. The offense improved to score 23 more points than they did in the first half and shot greater than 40% in the second 20-minute session, but HSU also improved upon their first half scoring to negative SWOSU's progress.

Three Bulldogs finished in double figures led by Jefkins Agyeman-Budu with 16 points and seven rebounds, Daniel Eibel with 14 points including 4-for-9 from beyond the arc, and Devin Pugh who added 12 points.
