Setting the Scene
- SWOSU Volleyball (11-16, 6-5 GAC) has its lightest week of the season with just one home contest against Southeastern inside the event center on Thursday
- As it stands, the Dawgs are currently tied for sixth place in the GAC standings with just five matches left before the regular season wraps up
- The Bulldogs earned their first 3-0 victory of the year when they took on the Savage Storm earlier in the season and will now be looking to sweep the regular-season series against SE
- Starting Thursday, SWOSU will alternate its final five games at home and on the road to close out the schedule
- First serve against Southeastern is set for 7 pm
The Opponent
Southeastern (8-17, 4-7 GAC)
- SE is fighting for its playoff lives, sitting tied for the eighth and final postseason spot with Henderson State Â
- The Savage Storm will come into Thursday riding a small two-game winning streak, with victories over Southern Arkansas and Arkansas-Monticello in last week's action
- They are very capable of keeping rallies alive, averaging 18.53 digs/set which ranks SE third in the conference in that category Â

SWOSU Notes
- Sophomore libero
Kaitlyn Dillon set a new single-match school record for digs in a four-set match with 39 digs on Friday against Ouachita
- Dillon has risen to fourth in SWOSU's career list for digs with 1,062 and she's currently third on the single-season digs list with 579 to date this season
- Making her first career start at setter, freshman
Allie Hoang dished out 53 assists on Friday against Ouachita, the third-most in school history for a four-set match
- Hoang was named Bulldog of the Week for her efforts, which included 13.2 assists, 2.86 digs and 1.43 kills per set in two conference matches last weekend

DeLayni Fine used a big week to move into the Top 10 list for career kills at SWOSU with 552 kills to her credit
- SWOSU is ranked fourth in the Great American Conference in both digs (18.52 per set) and service aces (1.41 per set)
- Senior defensive specialist
Lindsey McCauley is also climbing up the digs list, moving into ninth last week with 824 career digs in her three years at SWOSU

- Next week, the Bulldogs have a Tuesday/Thursday slate of games against Oklahoma Baptist on the road and East Central at home – both set for 7 pm start times
