Box Score (html)

ALVA, Okla. – SWOSU Soccer's Alimata Rabo and Sandra Nabweteme both scored hat tricks against Northwestern on Tuesday as the Bulldogs shutout the Rangers 6-0 to collect the regular-season sweep over NWOSU.

It was another slow start for the Bulldogs, who almost went into the half in a 0-0 stalemate before Rabo got the Dawgs on the board with 13 seconds left before the break.

The second half was where the damage was dealt on the attack, with Rabo and Nabweteme combining for five goals between the pair. Rabo completed her hat trick in the 72nd minute, while Nabweteme waited until the 90th minute to earn hers.

Lexie Bates was in goal on Tuesday, collecting three saves to help preserve the shutout. The shutout was the SWOSU defense's fifth blanking of an opponent this season.

Rabo now has a league-leading 15 goals on the year, followed by Nabweteme who has seven which ranks her second on the team.

SWOSU (7-3-2, 4-1-2 GAC) will return to Weatherford to welcome East Central on Saturday morning at 11 am to complete their week of action.
