MAGNOLIA, Ark. – SWOSU Softball was limited to one run and six hits on Saturday as they dropped a pair of games against Southern Arkansas in Magnolia. The Bulldogs are now 4-18 (2-10 GAC) on the year, with a series at home with Arkansas-Monticello coming up next weekend.

Abigail Schade had both hits for the Dawgs while
Miranda McDonald was SWOSU's only other baserunner, reaching by walk in the first inning.
Larie Amos (1-3) and
Rileigh Ricken combined to allow five hits and eight runs over four innings.

Tori Hawk turned a leadoff walk into SWOSU's only run on a squeeze play off the bat of
Taya Haney in the top of the first inning. SAU answered with a run in the bottom of the first and scored six in the bottom of the sixth to break the game open.
Haney (2-6) tossed 5.1 innings before
Taylor Eaves closed out the game in the circle.
