The Coaches:
SWOSU: Mark Persson (68-55-12; 8th season)
- Since taking over the program in 2009, Persson has amassed a 68-55-12 record, 
becoming the all-time winningest coach in program history
- Persson also led the Bulldogs to back-to-back GAC Championships in 2012 and 2013
- A two time All-Conference Coach of the Year, Persson holds a 37-24-7 record in GAC play
- He has coached one All-American, 12 All-Region players, and numerous All-Conference players during his time in Weatherford
 
OBU: Kevin Wright (40-32-3; 5th season)
- This is Coach Wright's fifth season at helm of Ouachita Baptist Women's Soccer after taking over in 2012
- Wright has coached three GAC Offensive Players of the Year, nine First Team and nine Second Team All-GAC selections
- He is 2-7-1 against the Bulldogs since 2012
 
The Opponent:
Ouachita Baptist (7-6-1, 7-2 GAC)
- The Tigers have won five of their last six games since suffering the defeat to SWOSU earlier in the season
- OBU is tied atop the conference standings with the Bulldogs, sporting a 7-2 conference record with losses to SWOSU and Oklahoma Baptist
- Six different players for OBU have scored a goal this season, with Dina Harper and Tessa Woodcock leading the team with three scores a piece
- In 14 games, the Tigers have only allowed 11 goals, while scoring 13    
 
Bulldog Facts:
- Sandra Nabweteme and Alimata Rabo lead the team with 18 goals scored a piece, tying for third in the NCAA Division II in that category
- The Bulldog offense still ranks fourth in Division II averaging 3.71 goals per game
- SWOSU can clinch the conference championship by defeating their next two opponents they face
- The loss on Thursday snapped a four-game winning streak and marked the first game in that span where the Dawg attack didn't score two or more goals in the match

- The Bulldogs end the season with two road games, first against Oklahoma Baptist on October, 27 at 6 pm in Shawnee and two days later against Southern Nazarene at 5 pm in Bethany
