Southwestern Oklahoma State Athletics

A staple of the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Athletic Department for the past 25 years, Pam Nichols is now in her 12th year as the department's Athletic Operations Manager.

Nichols was hired by the late Cecil Perkins in February 2000 and has been the administrative assistant for SWOSU Athletics ever since. She added the role of Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) prior to the 2014-15 academic year, a position she held in addition to her longtime administrative responsibilities within the department. Nichols has also served as the SWOSU Cheer & Pom sponsor since 2008 and works with the Bulldogs' Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Prior to coming to SWOSU, Nichols worked in banking within the Weatherford community for 17 years. She and her husband, Stuart, have three children: Katrina, Jenny and Jason, a former SWOSU Baseball player, along with four grandchildren.
