A staple of the Southwestern Oklahoma State University athletic department for the past 24 years, Pam Nichols is now in her 11th year as the department's Athletic Operations Manager and Senior Woman’s Administrator (SWA).
Nichols was hired by the late Cecil Perkins in February 2000 and she has been the administrative assistant for SWOSU Athletics ever since. She continued many of the same day-to-day operations while adding the role of SWA, which includes responsibilities involving the administration and governance of intercollegiate athletics for both men and women, prior to the 2014-15 year. Nichols has also served as the SWOSU Cheer & Pom sponsor since 2008 and she works with the Bulldogs Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Prior to coming to SWOSU, Nichols worked in banking within the Weatherford community for 17 years. She and her husband, Stuart, have three children: Katrina, Jenny and Jason - a former SWOSU Baseball player - along with four grandchildren.
