Dr. Bo Pagliasotti is in his eighth year as Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR) at SWOSU, a role he assumed prior to the 2017-18 school year. He is also the chair of the Kinesiology Department at SWOSU and the Sports Management Master's Program Director.
In 2021, Pagliasotti was appointed to the NCAA Division II Management Council to serve a term through 2026. He is currently the lone representative for the Great American Conference on the Management Council and is one of only 28 members total. In addition to Management Council, he serves as one of seven members on the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Committee which awarded 1.24 million dollars to student athletes pursuing graduate degrees this year.
Pagliasotti previously spent 10 years coaching at SWOSU, where he started the Bulldog Volleyball program in 2005 and served as the head coach until 2011. During his coaching stint, he served the university and the sport well, representing both the Lone Star and Great American Conferences for seven years on the Division II National Head Coaches Committee with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). He also served on the NCAA Regional Ranking Committee, NCAA Volleyball Rules Committee and as a mentor in the AVCA Mentors Program.
He came to SWOSU in 2005 following a three-year stint as the head coach at junior college Clarendon College after beginning his coaching career at Texas A&M-Commerce. Pagliasotti owns two degrees from Commerce: a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology/Literature (1997) and a master's in Kinesiology (2000). He has since finished off his doctorate.
