Caitlin Ogletree is in her fourth season as an assistant coach for the SWOSU Volleyball program after joining the Bulldogs prior to the 2015 season.

She has been a member of the staff as SWOSU has recorded 49 wins over the past three seasons, including a program-best 22 victories in her first year of 2015. That season, SWOSU finished fourth in the Great American Conference with a 10-6 mark and defeated Southern Arkansas to claim the program’s first-ever GAC Tournament Championship. The win also earned the Bulldogs their first-ever trip to the NCAA Division II Tournament, where they met the top-ranked team in the country, Concordia-St. Paul.

Ogletree came to SWOSU following a standout four-year playing career that saw her split time between the University of Houston and the University of Cincinnati. As a freshman, she was a four-time Conference USA Setter of the Week and named to the CUSA All-Freshman team after leading Houston in assists and aces while ranking second on the team in digs. She then made four starts for the Cougars as a sophomore in 2012 before transferring to Cincinnati.

After sitting out the 2013 season due to NCAA transfer regulations, had the opportunity to try out for the USA Women’s National Team in the summer of 2014 before returning to the court that fall for Cincinnati. She led the Bearcats with 614 assists and a 7.14 assist/set ratio in her redshirt-junior season, but her playing career was cut short following the season when she had shoulder surgery.

Ogletree was a four-year standout at Montgomery HS, where she was a two-time all-state selection, four-time District Setter of the Year and four-time academic all-district honoree. A native of Montgomery, Texas, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Cincinnati in 2015 and completed a master’s degree in Sports Management from SWOSU in 2017.
