Bryna Vogel is in her first season as a member of the SWOSU Volleyball coaching staff following a decorated playing career at the collegiate and professional levels.
Vogel played for four years at Kansas State (2014-17), where she was a two-time All-Big 12 selection and named to multiple all-tournament teams. She was a six-rotation player for the Wildcats in each of her final three seasons, eclipsing 300 digs in each season. Vogel helped the Wildcats to three NCAA Tournament appearances and two 20-win seasons, ending her career with 851 kills and 970 digs. Prior to her junior season, she was invited to train with USA Volleyball, completing the U.S. Collegiate National Team program in Indianapolis.
Following her collegiate career, Vogel moved to Switzerland to play for Edelline Köniz during the 2018 season. She also brings prior coaching experience to SWOSU including time as a volunteer coach at Kansas State and as an assistant at Lancaster Bible College.
A native of Clearwater, Kan., Vogel earned a bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Kansas State in 2018 and she is now pursuing a master's degree in Community Counseling from SWOSU.Â
