In his first full season with Bulldog Track & Field, Dixon saw consistent Top-10 finishes from the team in the 100m and 200m Dash and 100m and 400m Hurdles and had his 4x400m Relay Team garner Second Team All-GAC accolades at the conference championship.

Dixon most recently spent the 2017 season at Minnetonka High School in Minnesota as the Girls Varsity Sprint Coach. Upon graduating from Minnesota State-Mankato, Dixon spent the 2016-17 school year volunteer coaching both the men’s and women’s track & field teams where he helped guide them both to conference titles under the mentorship of his former coach Christopher Parno.

He was responsible for creating the strength training programs for track & field & cross country as well as teaching student-athletes proper lifting techniques, and demonstrating progressions for complex lifting exercises.

During his days of competition, Dixon competed at NCAA Division I North Dakota State University from 2011-2013 before transferring to Minnesota State-Mankato for his final year of eligibility in 2014. At MSU, he ran the 200m and was a member of the sprint relay teams.

Dixon graduated from Minnesota State-Mankato with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Sports Medicine in the spring of 2016. He will pursue a Master’s Degree in Sports Management at SWOSU starting in the fall of 2017.
