Marsha Cusack is in her first season as a graduate assistant for the SWOSU Softball program. She joins the program with a wealth of coaching experience from both the college and high school levels.

Cusack most recently served as the head softball coach at Enid High School from 2010-16, leading her program to multiple athletic and academic achievements. Her team won two regular season tournaments and finished as the runners-up at two others and her 2011 team was named the Academic State Champions. In addition, she had nine players who signed to compete collegiately.

Prior to taking the position at Enid, Cusack was the head softball coach at Okeene HS from 2008-10 after serving as the interim head softball at Langston University in the spring of 2008. She was also an assistant coach at Okeene from 2007-08.

Cusack has been involved on the summer softball scene as a coach for the Enid Premier Travel team while also doing private lessons from the Northwest Summer League in Okeene since 2010. She is also active with the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), having served on various committees – including education, ethics and recruiting – in recent years.

A native of Putnam, Okla., Cusack played for two years at Connors State College before earning a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics from Oklahoma State in 2000. She then attained a master’s degree in Education from Northwestern Oklahoma State in 2014.
