Kelsie Chace

Kelsie Chace returns to Weatherford after one year away and she enters her first year as the SWOSU Rodeo Assistant Coach in 2015-16.
 
A member of the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA), Chace was a five-year member of the SWOSU Rodeo team, competing for the Bulldogs from 2009-14. She was a three-time Central Plains Region Champion in Breakaway (2011-13), earning three trips to the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR), where she finished third in the nation in 2013.
 
On the WPRA circuit, Chace is a two-time World Champion after claiming the Tiedown Roping and All-Around Cowgirl championships in 2012. She still competes on the circuit and finished fourth in the WPRA All-Around standings and second in breakaway roping in 2014.
 
A native of Cherokee, Oklahoma, Chace has two degrees from SWOSU, earning her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2013 before completing a master’s degree in Sports Management in 2014.
