Hartshorne HS: All-State selection and Class 2A District 6 Offensive MVP following a senior season in which he carried the ball 260 times for almost 1,950 yards while scoring 35 total touchdowns...All-district selection at defensive back as a junior...Selected to play in the 2014 Oil Bowl...Also participated in track & field all four years of high school...Coached by Bill Williams at Hartshorne HS.

Personal: Son of Billy and Stacy Herring...Plans to major in Kinesiology.
