Sean Wilkerson

Sean Wilkerson joined the SWOSU Football coaching staff in January 2019 and he will coach the Bulldogs outside linebackers this season.
 
Wilkerson comes to SWOSU from Middle Georgia State University, where he coached defensive backs last season and helped the Knights to a 7-3 record. He also has coaching stops at Piper HS in Kansas, where he served as the Speed & Agility Coordinator and Defensive Backs Coach in 2017, and West Franklin HS, where he was the Wide Receivers and Defensive Backs Coach for the 2016 season.
 
As a player, Wilkerson started out playing wide receiver at San Diego Mesa College and transferred to Ottawa University, where he was an Honorable Mention All-KCAC selection in 2012. During his collegiate playing career, he was a member of three conference championship teams – once at Mesa College and twice with Ottawa.
 
A native of Warner Robins, Ga., Wilkerson earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ottawa University in 2014 and he is now pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Management at SWOSU.
