Ryan Feller, a former four-year standout on the SWOSU Football team, is now in his second season on the coaching staff at his alma mater and he will again coach the Bulldog linebackers in 2017.

In his first season on the SWOSU coaching staff, Feller helped guide a defense that had two players earn all-conference honors as the Bulldogs finished 5-6 with an undefeated record against in-state rivals.

Feller was a standout linebacker for the Bulldogs from 2010-13, appearing in 41 games and starting each game of his junior and senior seasons. Feller graduated with 282 total tackles (127 solo, 155 assist), the third-most at SWOSU in the NCAA Division II era and he was named a Second Team All-Great American Conference selection in 2013. He was the Bulldogs leading tackler in each of his final two seasons and his 102 tackles as a senior is the fifth-highest single season total at SWOSU in the NCAA era.

From Altus, Okla., Feller earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from SWOSU in 2014 and he is now pursuing a master’s degree in Business Administration.
