Robert Adan

Robert Adan enters his second season as a member of the SWOSU Football coaching staff and he will again coach the Bulldog wide receivers in 2017.
 
In his first season at SWOSU, Adan tutored All-American wide receiver D.J. Jones, who earned First Team All-GAC honors after setting a new single-season school record with 968 receiving yards. JR Omigie also earned an All-GAC Honorable Mention for the Bulldogs under the tutelage of Adan.
 
Adan comes to SWOSU from Santa Barbara City College in California, where he spent the last four seasons as the Vaqueros Wide Receivers Coach, Special Teams Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator. During his time at SBCC, he helped the team to two winning seasons and had three wide receivers sign to continue playing at a four-year school, with one signing at an NCAA Division I school.
 
As a player, Adan spent two seasons at Diablo Valley College before finishing his career at Menlo College, where he played for SWOSU quarterbacks coach Jon Garfield. While at Menlo, Adan totaled 42 receptions for 570 yards and five touchdowns and he was named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete following his senior season.
 
A native of Pittsburg, Calif., Adan earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Menlo College in 2012 and he is now pursuing a master’s degree from SWOSU. He resides in Weatherford with his wife, Nichole and the couple’s young daughter, Olivia.
