Michael Gallo is in his first season as a member of the SWOSU Football coaching staff and he will mentor the Bulldog Linebacker during the 2019 season.
This is the first collegiate coaching position for Gallo, who played for two years at Mt. San Antonio College before concluding his career at Missouri Western. He played in 21 games for the Griffons along the defensive line during the 2016-17 seasons. While in junior college, Gallo was a member of the 2014 CCCAA State Football Championship team and 2015 Golden State Bowl Champions.
Following his playing career, Gallo coached for one year as the Defensive Line assistant at Central High School in St. Joseph, Missouri.Â
A native of Glendora, Calif., Gallo earned his bachelor's degree in Health & Exercise Science from Missouri Western in 2018 and he is now pursuing a master's degree from SWOSU.
