Coach Jon Clark was the first member of new head coach Andrew Rice’s staff in 2024. He’s been designated Assistant Head Coach and will be over the secondary on defense.
Coach Clark comes to Weatherford after serving as the Defensive Coordinator for Northwestern Oklahoma State in 2023. He has accrued well over a decade of defensive coaching experience which began following his playing career as a defensive back at Arizona State from 2007-11.
He has coached collegiately in Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri spanning from the junior college level to all three divisions of the NCAA.
Clark holds a bachelor's degree from ASU in Interdisciplinary Studies, which he obtained in 2012.
