John Boogaard joined the SWOSU Football coaching staff in January 2019 as the Bulldogs Tight Ends and Fullbacks Coach.
Boogaard comes to SWOSU following a standout playing career at Rocky Mountain College, an NAIA institution located in Billings, Montana. He was a three-year starter in college, playing first at Western Colorado before transferring to RMC, where he was a two-year member of the Battlin' Bears team council. He concluded his career by being named a Second Team All-Frontier Conference selection in 2018.
A native of Monument, Colo., Boogaard earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Rocky Mountain College in 2018 and he is now pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Management from SWOSU.
