Calton Bakker is in his fourth year as an assistant football coach at SWOSU and will coach the offensive line in 2023 after being responsible for the defensive line last season. He will also continue to hold the title of Recruiting Coordinator for the Dawgs.
Bakker joined the coaching staff in 2020 following a four-year playing career, which culminated with two years as the starting center for the Bulldogs. He arrived in Weatherford for the 2018 season after playing two seasons at Jones Junior College in Mississippi. Following his senior season in 2019, he was selected to play in the Dream Bowl, a postseason all-star event held in Florida.
A native of Vancleave, Miss., Bakker holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management and a Master's Degree in Health & Physical Education from SWOSU.
