Bennet New is in his second season at SWOSU and he will coach inside linebackers during the 2022 season.

New arrived in Weatherford with two years of coaching experience, having worked as a recruiting intern and special teams assistant at Texas State in 2020 before moving on to Special Teams Assistant Coach at Navarro Junior College.

A native of Houston, Texas, New earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Texas State in 2020 and he is now pursuing his Master's Degree from SWOSU.Â
