Winner of the prestigious United States Collegiate Athletic Association national golf championship in 2011...Fired rounds of 72 and 68 to win the event by four strokes at the Penn State University Blue Course in State College, PA...Total score of 140 included 13 birdies and earned him All-American honors.

Played two seasons at Southern Maine Community College where he brought national attention to the Seawolves golf program helping them to tournament titles and winning a number of player-of-the-week awards and earning all-American honors in 2010 and 2011.

Graduate of Gorham High School where he finished first in the state qualification in 2009 and second in 2010...Honors graduate.

Personal: Parents are Craig and Debbie Stirling...Has two older sisters, Michelle and Nellie...Majoring in marketing...Enjoys ping pong and bowling.
