WEATHERFORD – Keaton Fisher and Jose Mendoza of SWOSU Baseball have been named the Bulldogs of the Week, presented by Wright Media — the official partner for SWOSU athletic livestreams and radio broadcasts.

Fisher (Kalama, Wash.) hit .600 (9-for-15) across four games last week, highlighted by a perfect 5-for-5 performance in the series finale against Southeastern that helped SWOSU secure the GAC series win. He also homered in a midweek victory over Oklahoma Baptist and added multiple extra-base hits during the weekend series, including two doubles and two triples. Fisher now leads the team with a .400 batting average on the season.

Mendoza (Avondale, Ariz.) went 10-for-14 (.750) on the week, recording at least one hit in every game and multiple hits in three of the four contests. After entering the week with eight hits on the season, he more than doubled his total and raised his batting average to .269.
