WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Jada Permenter (Volleyball) and Brook Carter (Cross Country) have been named the Bulldogs of the Week, presented by Wright Media – the official partner for SWOSU athletic livestreams and radio broadcasts.

Permenter (Amarillo, Texas) totaled 65 digs across the three matches, while also recording a service ace in each contest. Her best performance came Friday against Henderson State, when she posted 30 digs in SWOSU's three-set sweep of the Reddies. The 30-dig performance set a new GAC high for a three-set match this season and fell just one dig shy of tying the SWOSU program record for a three-set match.

The performance marked Permenter's second 30-dig outing in a three-set match, matching her total against East Central in the opening round of the 2025 GAC Tournament.

Carter (Snyder, Okla.) crossed the finish line 27th overall in a field of more than 220 runners with a time of 19:18.4, recording the fastest 5K ever by a SWOSU runner at the Chile Pepper Festival. Her time also marked an improvement of more than 30 seconds from SWOSU's season-opening 5K.
