WEATHERFORD – SWOSU Athletics is now accepting nominations for the SWOSU Athletic Hall of Fame, set to be announced in early summer.
 
A total of 123 student-athletes, coaches, and contributors have been inducted into the SWOSU Athletic Hall of Fame. The 2026 class will mark the 35th induction in program history, dating back to the first Hall of Fame event in 1963.
 
The Southwestern Oklahoma State University Athletic Hall of Fame was started as a way to enshrine student-athletes, coaches and contributors who have made a significant impact on the university and the SWOSU Athletics Department. The Hall of Fame selection committee, comprised of SWOSU Athletic Staff and Alumni, meet to select candidates for induction during that school year.
