WEATHERFORD – SWOSU Soccer swept the opening Bulldog of the Week awards for the 2025-26 year of competition following an unbeaten weekend in Colorado. The weekly recognition is presented by Wright Media, the official partner for SWOSU athletic livestreams and radio broadcasts.

Emma Young (Mansfield, Texas) earned the honor after recording consecutive shutouts in goal. She totaled 11 saves across two matches, including six in the season-opening 2-0 victory over Western Colorado and five more in a 1-0 win against Colorado Christian. Young has yet to concede a goal through 180 minutes of action this season.

Julie Andersen (Middelfart, Denmark) was also recognized for her pivotal role in SWOSU's defensive unit, which limited opponents to 11 shots (on goal) without allowing a score. Andersen added to the offensive effort in the opener, converting a penalty kick for the Bulldogs' first goal of the season, which ultimately stood as the game-winner.
