WEATHERFORD – SWOSU Athletics formally inducted Meghan (Browning) Harms, Ida (Hoffman) Martin, and Shane Martin into the SWOSU Athletic Hall of Fame as the Class of 2025. The event took place Friday evening, August 8, in the Skyview Suite of the Pioneer Event Center.
Ida Martin (2001-04) became the first representative from the softball program in the SWOSU Athletic Hall of Fame, while Shane Martin (2010-13) became the 18th from baseball and Megan Harms (2006-09) was the seventh to enter as a contributor. 123 total athletes, coaches, and contributors have now been inducted into the SWOSU Athletic Hall of Fame.
2025 marks the 34th time friends, family, and supporters have gathered to induct Bulldogs into the school's athletic hall of fame, dating back to 1963 when the first such event took place. Annual inductions began occurring in 2003 with two exceptions – in 2018, and again in 2020 due to COVID.
