WEATHERFORD – Carli Stuva and Chenoa VandeStouwe have been named the latest Bulldogs of the Week after helping lift SWOSU Women's Rodeo to a win at Fort Hays State over the weekend. The recognition is brought to you by Wright Media – the home for SWOSU athletic livestream events and radio broadcasts.
Stuva (Fontanelle, Okla.) became the fourth different SWOSU cowgirl to win the women's all-around at a rodeo this season after her performances in Breakaway Roping and Barrel Racing. She tied for the average victory in Breakaway after a strong 2.8 second showing in the short round and paired it with a top-10 finish in the average of Barrel Racing.
VandeStouwe (Inwood, Iowa) clocked consistent times in Goat Tying (8.3, 8.1) to finish second in the average. She was third in the long round and tied for second in the short go. It's her highest overall finish of the season in the event.
