WEATHERFORD – Bodi Wallar and Alexis Taylor have been named the latest Bulldogs of the Week, brought to you by Wright Media – the home for SWOSU athletic livestream events and radio broadcasts.
Wallar (Papillion, Neb.) went 6-for-11 at the plate with five walks in SWOSU's opening baseball series against Colorado School of Mines. In game two of the series, he finished a perfect 3-for-3 with two home runs, a double, and six RBI. He finished the weekend with SWOSU's highest batting average, slugging percentage, and on-base percentage.
Taylor (Frisco, Texas) earned two wins in the circle for SWOSU Softball on opening weekend. The freshman logged 10 innings in two starts, scattering eight hits and striking out five in her first collegiate weekend.
