Bulldog Men's Basketball is set to travel to Durant to face Southeastern in the finale of the 2025 calendar year.

SWOSU sits at 3-7 overall after dropping its first four conference matchups, including two against ranked opponents. Last week, the Bulldogs played No. 23 OBU tough, falling by just four points after a full 40-minute battle. On Saturday, SWOSU traveled to Bethany to take on No. 5 SNU. The Bulldogs held a 47-44 lead with 14:30 remaining in the second half before the Crimson Storm tightened the screws, closing the game on a 39-8 run to secure an 83-55 victory.

The Savage Storm enter the matchup with a 2-2 record in conference play and, like the Dawgs, a 3-7 overall mark. In the GAC, Southeastern has split the Arkadelphia road swing, earning a win at Henderson State before falling to Ouachita Baptist. In its lone home conference game, Southeastern picked up an overtime win over Northwestern before traveling to Shawnee and falling to No. 23 Oklahoma Baptist by 16 points.

Southeastern features four players with nearly identical scoring averages for the Bulldogs to contain. Ethan Wilkerson leads the way at 12.3 points per game and has been on a hot streak, scoring 31 and 21 points in his last two outings while shooting 67 percent from the field. Chandler Dickinson averages 11.8 PPG, including a season-high 24 points against Northwestern. Ethan Scott has scored in double figures in six of eight games and averages 11.6 PPG, while Santiago Camacho Gomez contributes 10.7 PPG.

On SWOSU's side, Kayden Carter averages a team-high 11.6 PPG and has scored in double figures in eight of 10 games. Ty Frierson adds 11.3 points per game and posted his second-highest scoring output of the season against OBU with 17 points. He went 5-5 from the free throw line in that contest, his most attempts without a miss this year. Kray Rogers contributes 8.9 points along with 6.2 rebounds and a team-high 17 made three-pointers. Tobias Roland found his groove last week, averaging 13 points across the two games while shooting 11-for-16 from the field.

As a team, Southeastern scores 76 points per game, seventh in the GAC, while the Dawgs average 68.6 points, ranking 11th in the conference. Defensively, SWOSU allows 70.1 PPG, which sits in the top half of the league, while the Savage Storm surrender a conference-high 82.7 PPG, ranking 243rd out of 289 Division II teams. Southeastern averages 9.7 made three-pointers per game, the top mark in the GAC. On the glass, SWOSU holds a +0.5 rebounding margin, while Southeastern sits at -2.6. SWOSU has forced and given up the same amount of turnovers while SE is last in the conference at -4.6.
