WEATHERFORD – Tucker Shepherd and Elijah Williams of SWOSU Men's Basketball have been selected as the newest Bulldogs of the Week after beating Southeastern Oklahoma State over the weekend in the first action of 2025. Shepherd (Stillwater, Okla.) shattered his season high in scoring with 22 points against the Savage Storm to lead all scorers. He was 5-of-10 from beyond the arc and had 16 of his points in the first half when the Bulldogs needed an offensive lift. Entering the day, Shepherd -- a true freshman -- had scored six points once in eight games and was averaging seven minutes of floor time. He played 33 minutes for the Dawgs off the bench on Saturday thanks to the hot hand.  

Williams (Lawrenceville, Ga.) had 13 of his 21 points in the second half against Southeastern, finishing 8-for-11 from the field on 4-of-6 shooting from the three-point line. His 21 points and seven rebounds both set new season highs.
