WEATHERFORD – Elijah Williams and Lanie Gooch gave strong minutes off the bench last week for their teams and have been named the Bulldogs of the Week. The weekly student-athlete recognition is brought to you by Wright Media, the home of SWOSU Athletics for both livestream and radio.

Williams (Lawrenceville, Ga.) finished with a season high 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting in a loss to Cameron last week in 21 minutes of floor time. He grabbed four rebounds and added one assist for the Bulldogs in his second appearance of the season.

Gooch (Wylie, Texas) played 17 effective minutes in SWOSU's near upset of No. 5/11-ranked Lubbock Christian last Tuesday, finishing with eight points, six rebounds, and a steal. She fell one shy of tying her season high in both scoring and rebounding.
