WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Eli Al-Debaran and Paris Patterson have been chosen as the newest Bulldogs of the Week. The weekly student-athlete recognition is brought to you by Wright Media, the home of SWOSU Athletics for both livestream and radio.

Al-Debaran (Victorville, Calif.) poured in a career high 23 points and grabbed four rebounds against Missouri Southern over the weekend in a 76-69 win, giving the Dawgs their first victory of the season. He knocked down a pair of three-point shots and found success at the free throw line – shooting 9-of-10 in the contest. One day prior against Newman, he had eight points and three assists.  

Patterson (Amarillo, Texas) had a consistent week in two wins against Oklahoma Baptist and East Central. She had nine kills in a sweep of East Central, hitting a season high .368 with just two errors. Day prior, she had an errorless 12-kill night against Oklahoma Baptist where she finished right at a .300 hitting mark. Those two hitting percentages represent her highest, and third highest, marks of the season.
