GREENWOOD, Ind. – A total of 10 SWOSU Baseball and Softball student-athletes were named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selections, announced Tuesday by the organization.
Both baseball and softball had five represented – the maximum number allotted per sport.
Academic All-District selections were based on combined academic and athletic performances among other qualifications. One must also hold a 3.5 minimum cumulative GPA. Cross Country, Track, and Golf All-District selections are set to be announced in the coming weeks.
The 2023 Academic All-District® Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field or court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First, Second, and Third-Team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.
