WEATHERFORD, Okla. – SWOSU Volleyball made quick work of Arkansas Tech on Thursday, sweeping the Golden Suns 3-0 with winning margins of at least nine points in each set.

The one hour and 16-minute contest snaps SWOSU's four-match streak of going all five sets. It's the second sweep of the season.   

SWOSU has now won four games in a row and sits 6-2 in conference play. The Bulldogs will turn around and host league-leading Harding on Friday in a matinee matchup between the top two teams in the GAC.

The Bulldogs did not trail in Thursday's match until the opening points of set three, taking advantage of nine visitor errors in the first set before hitting a blistering .429 in the second.

Arkansas Tech gave one final push in the third set and jumped out to an early lead before SWOSU finally gained momentum and delivered the final run to end things. Tied 10-10, five straight points went the way of the Bulldogs and SWOSU cruised to victory from there.

Final numbers showed SWOSU at .229 hitting compared to Tech's .066, representing the lowest opponent percentage of the season.

Freshman Libero Jada Permenter started the match with eight first set digs but finished with 14 for the match after Tech started sending balls elsewhere.

Taryn Galt led the offense with nine kills on .318 hitting.
