CANYON, Texas – SWOSU Volleyball traveled to No. 12 West Texas A&M on Tuesday and fell to the Lady Buffs 3-0.
The Bulldogs fall to 10-10 on the season with seven remaining matches in the regular season.
The offense was held to a season low .022 hitting on the night. Meanwhile, WT hit.319 in the match – the highest percentage of any team SWOSU has faced this season.
After two decisive sets to begin the match, SWOSU settled down in the third set to make things competitive. The Dawgs trailed 17-16 before six straight Lady Buff points finally took the wind out of the visiting Bulldog sails.
The road match Tuesday was the final non-conference contest for SWOSU, who will return to Weatherford to host Ouachita (10/13) and Henderson State (10/14) to close out the week. The Bulldogs are 6-3 in GAC play and currently sit tied for third in the standings.
