SEARCY, Ark. – The SWOSU Volleyball team saw their 2021 spring season ended on Saturday at the hands of undefeated and No. 6-ranked Harding, who claimed a 3-0 victory in the Great American Conference Semifinals.
 
SWOSU came out slow and dropped the first set 25-17, but they were in great position to claim the second as they built a two-point advantage at 23-21, which forced Harding to call timeout. After the timeout, however, the Lady Bisons seized the momentum and scored four straight points to close out the set 25-23 and take the 2-0 lead. Momentum remained with the home team the rest of the match as Harding closed it out 25-13 in the third.
 
The Bulldogs finished with 35 kills in the match and hit .128, led by Samantha Kuzma, who had nine kills without an attack error and hit .692 for the match. Emma Cohalla added eight kills while Maicee Morgan and Lacy Mott had five kills apiece. First Team All-GAC setter Allie Hoang closed out the season with a double-double of 27 assists and 13 digs, both team highs.
 
SWOSU Volleyball closes out their 2021 spring season with a record of 7-6, giving the Bulldogs a winning record for the third straight season.
