SWOSU Notes
• Through 14 games, the Lady Bulldogs are ranked fourth in NCAA Division II, averaging 86.9 points per game, a mark that is on pace to set a new single-season school record
• Additionally, the Lady Dawgs lead NCAA Division II in three-pointer per game (11.8), assists per game (19.8) and assist:turnover ratio (1.70:1) and they’re third in turnover margin (+11.00) and steals per game (14.9)
• Sophomore Makyra Tramble is a four-time GAC Player of the Week this season and she currently leads the league in points (21.5), rebounds (9.9), steals (4.1) and three-point field goals (3.2) per game for the year
• In less than two full seasons, Tramble has already begun climbing SWOSU’s all-time lists, recently moving into the top ten in both career three-pointers made (109) and steals (126)
• Taber Beer leads the GAC with an assist:turnover ratio of 2.1:1 and she recently moved into the Top 5 on SWOSU’s all-time assist list, currently sitting fifth with 272 for her career
• Bethany Franks has continued her climb up the career lists as well, moving into 12th in scoring (1,088) on Saturday
• Franks is already SWOSU’s all-time leader in steals with 284, which also makes her the active leader in NCAA Division II by 71 over Brooklyn Pannell of Charleston, and she’s nine rebounds away from passing her former teammate Hailey Tucker for second place on that career list
• Karly Gore has scored at least 10 points in 12-of-14 games this season with a career-high 20 at East Central and she’s second on the team with 14.8 points per game for the year
• SWOSU has six different players who have hit at least 12 three-pointers this season in Tramble (45), Macy Gore (23), Karly Gore (22), Lauren Ramey (22), Beer (18) and Regan Crawford (12)
• SWOSU features four players in the Top 10 of the GAC’s rankings for assists, led by Beer and Macy Gore (T-6th, 55) along with Tramble (9th, 46) and Karly Gore (10th, 44)
