WEATHERFORD, Okla. - SWOSU Men's Basketball could not get anything going against Dallas Baptist on Saturday in their 84-54 loss to the Patriots.
The Bulldogs shot just 34% from the field as a team and turned the ball over 22 times in the game. Meanwhile, DBU shot 48% and turned the ball over just 12.
SWOSU dug themselves a hole in the first half, trailing 43-24 at the break, and was unable to chip away at the deficit at all after again being outscored in the half.
Kamden Gipson was a bright spot for the offense. He finished with 17 points on 7-for-14 (50%) shooting and also had four assists. He was the lone double-digit scorer on the afternoon for SWOSU.
SWOSU, 2-2 in Great American Conference play, finds themselves right in the thick of the conference standings heading into Christmas Break. They will take a two-game GAC winning streak into their next matchup with Arkansas Monticello on December 30th.
