This Week in SWOSU Athletics

WEATHERFORD, Okla. - SWOSU Volleyball and SWOSU Soccer both return home from  Arkansas road trips and get to play in front of Bulldog Nation once again!

SWOSU Women's Golf decided to get an even earlier start than they normally do, as they started competition in the NCAA Central Region Women's Preview on Sunday instead of the normal Monday start. The tournament is hosted by Henderson State and will be played in Hot Springs, Ark. at the Hot Spring Country Club.

The Men's Golf team is also in action this week, in a uncommon double header for Head Coach Brad Fleetwood's squads. The guys travel to St. Joseph, Mo. to compete in the Holiday Inn Express Classic hosted by Missouri Western. Action will be reduced to just two rounds instead of the normal three due to weather conditions at St. Joseph Country Club.

Next up is Bulldog Soccer, who are coming off an undefeteated week in which they took down Ouachita Baptist and Harding. Head Coach Mark Persson's team face off against Southern Nazarene at the SWOSU Athletic Complex at 3:00 pm on Thursday before heading to Shawnee to take on Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday at 5:00 pm.

SWOSU Football has their second Thursday night game of the year, as they prepare to face off with Southern Nazarene in Bethany at 6:00 pm. It will be a matchup between two teams still in search of their first win on the season.

Bulldog Volleyball rounds out the slate this week with a pair of home games that are sure to get the Pioneer Cellular Event Center jumping. Friday at 6:00 pm Head Coach Josh Collins' team takes on Harding and then has a quick turnaround to square off with Akransas Tech on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
