Setting the Scene
- SWOSU Women's Basketball puts their 20-game win streak on the line in Shawnee on Saturday afternoon with an in-state showdown against Oklahoma Baptist
- The Lady Bulldogs won their 20th straight game on Thursday night, defeating East Central 91-76 to extend their home winning streak to 29 consecutive games
- The Noble Complex in Shawnee has been one of the more difficult road venues for the Lady Bulldogs, who are 1-2 against OBU on their home floor since the Lady Bison joined the GAC
- SWOSU's lone defeat of the 2018-19 season came on the floor at the Noble Complex in a neutral site game against Emporia State in the season opener
- The Lady Bulldogs are the lone team to clinch a spot in the GAC Tournament at this point and they enter Saturday with a five-game lead in the conference over Harding, Henderson State and Southern Nazarene
- At 6-9 in league play, Oklahoma Baptist is currently tied with Arkansas Tech and Northwestern Oklahoma State in seventh place in the GAC

- With 20 consecutive victories, the Lady Bulldogs have set a new Great American Conference record for the longest winning streak, surpassing the previous record of 18 set by Harding during the 2013-14 season
- SWOSU surpassed the 90-point mark for the 10th time this season on Thursday night, upping their scoring average to 87.6 points per game, which ranks third among all NCAA Division II institutions

- For the year, Franks leads the GAC in rebounding (8.8 per game) while ranking third in field goal percentage, having connected on 61-of-102 (59.8%) attempts this season

- Rivalry action returns to the Pioneer Cellular Event Center next Thursday evening as the Bulldogs host the rival Rangers from Northwestern Oklahoma State at 5:30 pm
