Setting the Scene
- SWOSU Women's Basketball will play their final two regular season games of the season this weekend in Arkansas, beginning on Thursday night as they head to Searcy to face Harding
- The Lady Bulldogs have already secured their second straight Great American Conference Championship while Harding is one of three teams currently tied for second place in the league standings
- SWOSU has won 25 straight games since dropping their season opener to Emporia State, which gives them the second-longest active win streak in NCAA Division II
- This season, the Lady Bulldogs are 10-0 in true road games, including a 9-0 mark in conference road games
- The Lady Dawgs will take a top-10 ranking in both national polls into the final week of the regular season while they also moved to the top spot in the Central Region with the second set of NCAA Division II Regional Rankings, which were announced on Wednesday
 
About the Opponent
Harding (19-7, 14-6 GAC)
- The Lady Bisons played SWOSU tight in the first meeting, leading by as many as eight points in the early going before the Lady Bulldogs bench propelled them to the 88-82 victory
- Harding is ranked third in the conference in scoring at 71.9 points per game while sporting the second-best scoring defense by holding their opponents to an average of 60.5 points
- Leading the way for Harding is post Kellie Lampo, a three-time GAC Player of the Week this season who ranks second in the league in scoring (19.3 ppg) and eighth in rebounding (7.4 rpg)

- Despite an overall record of 2-5 at Harding since the formation of the Great American Conference, the Lady Bulldogs have left Rhodes-Reaves Field House victorious twice in the last three seasons
- SWOSU enters the final weekend of the season with their highest ranking of the season, reaching #10 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) poll this week while moving to #5 in the D2SIDA Media Poll
- The Lady Bulldogs are ranked third in NCAA Division II with a scoring average of 86.7 points per game this season while outscoring their opponents by 18.5 points per game, which ranks 12th in the country
- Hailey Tucker enters the week with the second-most points among active players in NCAA Division II with 2,165, just two ahead of Dana Watts of American International
- This season, Tucker ranks third in the conference with 19.0 points per game, second with 40 blocked shots and seventh with 55 made three-pointers
- SWOSU's other stellar senior, Hayden Priddy, has knocked down a league-leading 69 three-pointers this season and she ranks fourth in the league in scoring (17.3 ppg)  while boasting the second-best assist:turnover ratio at 1.8:1
- In the Lady Bulldogs first meeting with Harding, Maddie Sperle came off the bench to score a career-high 18 points while Savannah Gray poured in a season-best 15 points in just 11 minutes of action
- Bethany Franks leads the GAC with 8.7 rebounds per game while also ranking fourth in field goal percentage, having hit 78-of-144 (54.2%) attempts this season
- SWOSU's current 25-game winning streak is the second-longest active streak in NCAA Division II, the longest in Great American Conference history and the longest by the Lady Bulldogs in the NCAA era

- SWOSU closes out the regular season on Saturday afternoon in Russellville with a conference matchup against Arkansas Tech
- Having already clinched the top seed in the upcoming GAC Tournament, the Lady Bulldogs know they will play on Thursday, March 7, at 5:45 pm in the quarterfinals of the tournament, which is held in Bartlesville, Okla.
