Setting the Scene
- Saturday is Senior Day at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center as the Lady Bulldogs host Ouachita in their final home game of the regular season
- SWOSU has won all 13 home games they've played this season and they'll be looking to complete a second straight unbeaten home schedule, which would extend their 31-game home winning streak
- The Lady Bulldogs will honor four seniors prior to tipoff against the Tigers as Katie Percival, Savannah Gray, Hailey Tucker and Hayden Priddy are set to play their final regular season home games
- Having already secured a second straight Great American Conference regular season championship, the Lady Bulldogs defeated Henderson State 86-77 on Thursday night to improve to 19-0 in GAC play
- With two weeks to play in the regular season, the Lady Dawgs are ranked second in the Central Region Rankings, which were released Wednesday, and they came in at #12 in the WBCA Poll and #7 in the D2SIDA Media Poll this week
 
About the Opponent
Ouachita (7-18, 5-14 GAC)
- The Tigers have dropped five of their last six games and they find themselves on the cusp of being eliminated from postseason competition with three games to play
- Ouachita ranks ninth in the GAC with an average of 62.6 points per game while giving up a league-high 74.2 points per game to their opponents
- Three Tigers are scoring better than 10 points per game, led by Alivia Huell, who leads the team with 13.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game
- Long-time head coach Garry Crowder is in his 24th season leading the Lady Tigers and he's on the cusp of his 350th victory with the program

- Prior to tipoff on Saturday, SWOSU will recognize four seniors who will be playing their final home regular season game, three of whom have played all four years of their career with the Lady Bulldogs
- Savannah Gray has played in 85 games over the past three seasons and connected on 107 three-pointers, which ranks her just outside the top 10 in program history
- Katie Percival is a four-year member of the Lady Bulldog Basketball program who will get the opportunity to make her first career start on Saturday afternoon
- Hayden Priddy assumed the role as starting point guard midway through her freshman season and she's gone on to become the school's all-time leader in assists (456) and steals (153) while ranking fourth in career scoring (1,660 points)
- Hailey Tucker has started all but one game in her illustrious career, which has seen her become the Great American Conference's all-time leading scorer with better than 2,100 points to her credit
- SWOSU's four-year seniors have won at least 20 games in all four seasons while leading the Lady Bulldogs to back-to-back GAC regular season championships
- In the last four years, SWOSU has a record of 49-6 at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center, including 31 straight wins as they look to close out a second consecutive undefeated season at home
- SWOSU's current 24-game winning streak is the longest in Great American Conference history and the longest by the Lady Bulldogs in the NCAA Division II era
 
Looking Ahead
- The final two games of the regular season will be played on the road as SWOSU visits Harding next Thursday before closing out the regular season at Arkansas Tech next Saturday
- Having already clinched the top seed in the upcoming GAC Tournament, the Lady Bulldogs know they will play on Thursday, March 7, at 5:45 pm in the quarterfinals of the tournament, which is held in Bartlesville, Okla.
