WEATHERFORD, Okla. – SWOSU entered Saturday's matchup with Oklahoma Baptist needing at least a tie to claim their fourth Great American Conference Championship in the past eight years and they got just that, playing OBU to a scoreless draw in front of a spirited crowd at the Athletic Complex.
Oklahoma Baptist had the advantage with 20 shots in the match, including 11 on goal, but each one was met by SWOSU goalkeeper
Kirstyn Dill who pitched a shutout for the Dawgs. SWOSU's offense was held in check by the Lady Bison, getting off 11 shots and just four on goal as they were shut out for just the second time this season, both coming against OBU.
