- Lady Bulldog Basketball will play their next four games on the road, beginning on Thursday evening as they visit Bill Vining Arena in Arkadelphia to match up with Great American Conference foe Ouachita
- SWOSU moved up in both national rankings this week, returning to the WBCA Coaches Poll at No. 20 while climbing to No. 18 in the latest D2SIDA Media Poll
- Since dropping their season opener against Emporia State, the Lady Bulldogs have won 11 consecutive games which is good for the second-longest winning streak at SWOSU in the NCAA Division II era
- Ouachita enters the game on a four-game slide following conference defeats at Southern Nazarene and Oklahoma Baptist last weekend
- The Lady Bulldogs are 11-4 against the Tigers since the teams helped form the Great American Conference and SWOSU has won three straight in the series, including a 76-73 victory last season in Arkadelphia

- The Lady Tigers are one of the lowest-scoring teams in the GAC, averaging 62.2 points per game for the season while shooting 38.1% from the field and 33.0% from three-point range
- Ouachita has dropped their last three conference games following a two-game winning streak over Arkansas-Monticello and Southern Arkansas in early December

- SWOSU returned to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) poll at No. 20 on Tuesday, matching their spot in the outlet's preseason poll
- The Lady Bulldogs have now won 10 consecutive games in back-to-back seasons, a feat they had not previously accomplished as an NCAA Division II institution

Hayden Priddy has scored at least 12 points in every game this season, putting up 20 for the third time this season in the Lady Dawgs win over Southern Arkansas on Saturday

Hailey Tucker has led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring in four straight games and five of the last six, helping her move into a share of the top spot in the GAC's scoring leaderboard with 20.0 points per game
- Tucker matched a season-high by connecting on 5-of-11 three-pointers against SAU and became SWOSU's career leader in three-point field goals made, surpassing the previous record of 225 held by
